Maceo Parker - Soul Food Cooking With Maceo - LP

Vinyl LP

Soul Food - Cooking With Maceo blends raw, old-school funk with the flavors of the New Orleans school of music. Maceo Parker worked with Ivan Neville, Nikki Glaspie, and Tony Hall, alongside a host of local musicians, to reimagine iconic songs by Dr. John, The Meters, Allen Toussaint, Aretha Franklin, Prince, and Ray Charles saxophonist David "Fathead" Newman, plus funky workouts drawn from his own catalogue.
